I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The rooms were so relaxing and comfortable, and I especially loved the wood burning fire they lit every night. The service was extremely helpful, and the natural setting in a calm and quiet surrounding was perfect for unwinding. The location was stunning with beautiful gardens and a golf course, although the noise from tour groups was a bit disruptive at times. The dining experience in the beautiful restaurant overlooking the pool and golf course was a nice change, offering delicious Mexican dishes. Overall, a delightful experience with some minor drawbacks.
The hotel is set up the hill, making it a bit inconvenient to reach the pool, spa, or restaurant without using the shuttle bus. The rooms, although a bit small, were cozy, but we had to change rooms in the middle of the night due to a chimney issue. The lack of heated rooms turned out to be fine during our stay.
